Currly does not collect any personal data. There are no ads, no tracking, no analytics tools and no user account.

Favourites, recently used currencies, your settings (such as the card fee), rates you enter yourself and the most recently downloaded exchange rates stay on your device. We have no access to them. Deleting the app deletes them.

To load current rates, the app contacts the Frankfurter service (api.frankfurter.dev) when you open it and about once a day in the background. As with any internet request, your IP address is technically transmitted to the server. The request contains no data about you, your amounts or your favourites. According to its operator, Frankfurter does not store IP addresses or requests; the service uses Cloudflare for caching and protection against attacks.

Currly suggests the currency of the country you are in based on your iPhone's time zone. The app never asks for your location, and the time zone does not leave your device.

The widget and shortcuts use the same rates stored on your iPhone. Siri requests and App Store ratings are processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

As we do not store any personal data, there is no data we could provide information about, correct or delete. If you have questions, contact us at the email address above. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

If the app ever starts processing data, we will update this policy beforehand.
